ABT FINEST FOOTBALL COMPETITION 1.0

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The tournament is in its first season. 

* It shall comprises of 8 teams with 2 groups–4 teams per group.

* Each team shall play 3 matches in the group stage. 

* The 2 top teams goes to the semi final. 

* Losers in the semi final plays the 3rd placed match.

* The final match takes place after to determine the winner. 

* It’s a 7-Aside tournament with each team registering 13 players and subsequent registration of  a new player attracts a sum of #2000 only.

* All teams MUST dressed properly, that is, no short socks or leggings. 

* Throw-ins shall be normal as full field play.

* Yellow cards attracts #200 only

* Red Cards is #500 only.

* Payments for cards will be paid immediately before the player goes back into the field after 2mins suspension. 

* No offensive words to the referees or organizers. Any team found wanting will AUTOMATICALLY BE EXPELLED from the competition.

* All teams MUST be at the match venue 30mins before kick-off, any team that comes  15 mins after kick-off will be WALKED OVER

* All Licenses must be presented before every match, failure to present makes the team lose points.

* All teams must come with their BALLS failure will attract #1000 to be paid before kick-off. 

* Players information must be filled on the form provided, printed and submitted to the Secretariat (any team that’s ready with theirs should indicate on the platform).

* All club supporters must not be closed to the Technical crew/bench. 

* Each half will be 35mins, 10 minutes break. 

* After the opening day, 2 matches will be played throughout the group stage. 

* All teams must be present on the opening day in their jerseys.
